In 2000, after being commissioned by the U.S. Department of Defense to develop innovative internet recruiting mechanisms, I began consulting on interactive marketing strategy throughout a wide range of verticals, including the telecommunications, pharmaceutical and entertainment industries. During that time, I brought several existing brick-and-mortar businesses onto the web and managed a global network of service providers to build my own profit-center; a network of niche communities and affiliate-driven micro-sites.
From 2003-2005 I served as the Director of Online Marketing for the WPP’s online consumer research arm, where I recruited and lead global cross-functional teams throughout North America, Europe, and Australia in promoting internet-driven research techniques, developing new business and optimizing platform positioning.
In 2005, I moved on to Temel Inc, an established design and branding agency, where I created a new revenue channel of interactive marketing service offerings and an associated interactive marketing department from the ground up. While at Temel, I designed and managed the execution of all web-based marketing programs for their high-profile clients.
Last year, while working regularly with clients in both New York City and Southern California, I was amazed by the thriving interactive presence and entrepreneurial vibe that I discovered in Los Angeles. I felt drawn to the region and decided to leave my home in the North East to join the forward-thinking talent in Southern California.
I currently reside in Malibu, California and work independently as an interactive marketing strategy consultant.
A veteran of the Army’s Special Operations Command and an adventure traveler, I bring a wealth of diversity and unique perspective to the strategy table. I hold a BS in Marketing and a BA in Psychology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new cultures through travel, cuisine and photography.
